Dr. David W. Reid, PhD, C. Psych

Dr. David Reid is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Health, York University. He is registered in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Clinical Psychologist with competencies to work with individuals, couples and families. He has over 30 years of experience in teaching, research and psychotherapy. He has focused his clinical work and research work for the past 15 years on psychological interventions to enhance the quailty of marital relationships. More recently, he has focused his attention understanding cross-cultural competence in couple therapy.
In addition to his teaching and clinical work, Dr. Reid spends his weekends at his cottage in Fenelon Falls with friends and family. He recently became a proud grandfather as you can see in his picture.

Dr. Saunia Ahmad, PhD, C. PsychDr. Saunia S. Ahmad, completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology (with a minor in Biology), and a Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at York University, Toronto, Canada. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Clinical and Counseling psychologist. Dr. Ahmad has several years of experience providing individual, couple and group therapy using evidence-base approaches. She has been providing clinical services since 2004.
In addition to seeing individuals and couples in the South Asian Couple Therapy program, she is engaged in teaching psychology courses and in training and supervising graduate students. She is also in private practice providing individual and couple therapy. Dr. Ahmad's parents are first generation Muslim immigrants from India, and she provides services in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
